Sometimes the plain facts
Don't seem enough;
Sometimes one reacts
By adding fluff;
Sometimes the teachers
Teach what they want;
Sometimes the preachers
Want words that daunt;
Sometimes what we know
Just became true
Because the "facts" flowed
From them to you.
