Those who act puckish
act out most every wish
and always have stories to dish
'cuz they're mischevious little fish,
those whimsical creatures - the puckish.

  1. Our Maltese is named Puck
    and you can guess why
    a big ball of chaos
    for such a little guy!

We actually named him "Robin Goodfellow" from the play Midsummer Night's Dream. Robin was called "Puck" as a nickname in the play and that's what we call our little mischief maker!

  6. I love this word! I've never heard it before and, like Jack, I intend to use it. Thank you for the introduction. As a note, I never preferred the sound of rhyme until I started studying form, now I'm almost addicted to the challenge of crafting better rhyming poems.

  7. Great poem! I miss Shel Silverstein, too. This made me think of his poems. And, oh the joy of puckish people when you can experience them from afar, but really annoying if their puckishness is turned on you.
