A pleonasm
is like a mouth orgasm,

or redundant sarcasm -
pleonasm.

Every week I
rhyme and define a new wacky word.
Come on over to indulge your inner
nerd.
And, please let me know of any weird words you've
heard.
As much as I run my mouth, you'd think I'd have heard this one by now ;D
ReplyDeleteAh, but I wouldn't really call you redundant. :)
DeleteDear Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI've never seen or heard this word used, but I think I'm guilty of it many times...can't help it...we poets can be over-expressive sometimes! LOL
Thanks for sharing and also for providing the link to free images. I've been deleting images from my blog following a post I read a couple of days ago about copyright that just scared me into action.
If you have time, come linkup to Blog Hop Saturday! happening this Fri & Sat Aug 3-4th. I'll be putting up a new Linky on Fri.
I'm glad you found the link to the free images. You can also try morguefile.com :)
DeleteAh, I now have a title for something I often see. Keep spreading the knowledge!
