thinks sunshine bates

a basking state

and always rates

a day as great

when warmth infiltrates.

Sunshine is the first mate

of one who apricates.

Cantrip

trick you,

and silence your yell.

It's magic used tragically,

slick witchy trickery -

like the apple Snow White nipped,

that one bite slip,
