To obnubilate
Is to annihilate
A view, with clouds so great
You feel trapped in a foggy state,
Road obscured, you wait.
Crushing cloud cover obnubilates.

Every week I rhyme and define a new wacky word.
Come on over to indulge your inner nerd.
And, please let me know of any weird words you've heard.
That's a new word to me, Rachel. I like unusual words like that, ones that most people don't know. (Makes me seem smart when I use them - LOL!)
ReplyDeleteHehe. That is the same reason I like unusual words. :)
Deletethat is some kinda foggy...or cloudy when you cant see....ha this one is fun to say as well...
ReplyDeleteI like the way the word sounds too. Pronouncing it sort of feels like thunder rolling off my tongue. :)
DeleteRachel! A very fun word, I knew the "nubes" part from spanish class...Love to sit inside with some tea and a good book when the sky has been obnubilated :-)
ReplyDeleteYo ya sabía las nubias tambien. :)
