would not be a bore
or feel like a chore
even if the floor

Every week I rhyme and define a new wacky word.
Come on over to indulge your inner nerd.
And, please let me know of any weird words you've heard.
I think there's extra gravity in certain spots, like my recliner, that makes it harder to get up.
ReplyDeleteLOL. It certainly feels that way sometimes. :)
Deletethere have been a few times after work i have felt just like this...smiles.
ReplyDeleteHaven't we all? :)
DeleteThis was wonderful - I'm renaming you as Shelley Suess as your work reminds me of Shel Silverstein and Dr. Suess! Loved this!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU Buddah! :) I love that nickname. It's not really one you can give yourself without sounding conceited, but you can't argue with Buddah, right? :)
DeleteHi Rachel, your poetry certainly doesn't induce a torpor, I've always associated this with apathy, like your definition better :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Sara,
DeleteApathy is an accurate definition as well. It just seemed to imply more to me... like a weight that leaves you stuck to the ground. :)
