Tickle City is the blog one kind critic calls home.
I found him one night while on a blog roam.
Came to read a review he wrote on an artist...
Kinda jealous, wanting to also feel star kissed...
Later I rhymed him an email all about me.
Ever so kindly, my silly blog he came to see.
Christmas Eve he wrote back to this rhymer,
In the confidently humble words of an old-timer,
Told me he'd like to feature me on his site.
Yes! Yippee! I was filled with delight.
After that he asked a few details about me.
Wrote him back, I did promptly.
And a short time later this was posted for all to see.
Ridiculously glad Walsh was the first to tell my story...
Delighted, I humbly accept my new Tickle City glory.

You've reached the peak
For those who seek
The bestest crown
In Tickle Town!
Nice write-up, too,
So good for you!
Congrats Rachel, I'm tickled for you. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's a fine and interesting article.
ReplyDeleteSounds like things are taking off like a..um..light particle?

Thank you trollpants, Patricia and Bryan. If I said I wasn't excited, I'd be lying. :o)
ReplyDeletep.s. article is definitely a tough one to rhyme with, Bryan.
Should have just made a word up that rhymed Bryan. We're writers we can get away with it! (At least that's what I tell everyone. hehe)
ReplyDeleteYou are so totally right Patricia... I make up words all the time! We writers deserve our creative freedom, especially in rhyme. :o)
