and wanted to take a wild ride.
She felt a call to create
To jelly bean animate
and did something that no one else tried.

  3. I'm not a big fan of the song, but I have to admit the jelly beans were pretty awesome.

  4. @CheesyDoug - I wasn't into the song either, that's why I shared the "making of" video. :)

  7. Had to click over and see the finished video. Pretty neat looking. The funny thing is that the way they matched it up one frame at a time, makes the girl looks like she's stop-animated like Gumby. They probably could have simulated the jelly-bean animation with a computer, but they wouldn't have gotten that same choppy, stop-animated, effect which adds to the charm of the whole thing. Nicely done.

  8. @Debra - I do think she succeeded at creating something unique that stands on its own. :)

@Brian - Or... we might never want to see a jelly bean again after playing with them that many days in a row. :)

@Bryan - Yeah. I like that she was stop animated too. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if the jelly beans were just a backdrop. :)

  16. Loved your limerick and both videos! Who in their right mind would ever conceive of jelly beans being art? I mean, I remember President Reagan liked them, but what imagination and creativity here, to take them beyond the taste buds and the stomach!

Very clever; so glad I stopped by!

    Blessings!
