Mickle
Mickle rhymes with but is not like a pickle,
But could describe a big pile of nickles,
Or perhaps a gigantic pot of pickles,
Because a lot of something is called a mickle.

Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein... I miss you my friends, and dream of a ten turtle stack where the sidewalk ends. Though I'm now an adult, I miss the sing song of your rhymes. They teach little lessons and make us talk in time. So here's my attempt at a silly adult version - a wacky news, silly video, rhyming poetry fusion.
Does it tickle if you mickle up a bunch of pickles?..haha
ReplyDeleteIt might tickle if you wiggle IN a mickle of pickles. LOL. Didn't you learn anything? Mickle isn't a verb. :P
DeleteDoes that mean I had a mickle of kids?
ReplyDeleteI love this and it is a great idea, wacky is great for the title.
Hmmm... hard to tell... what some people see as a mickle of kids, others see as only a trickle. :P
DeleteThanks for giving your opinion re wacky vs witty. :)
Let the words trickle...:)
ReplyDeleteOnly a trickle? LOL :P
