The Perfect Poet Award

This morning I learned that (again) I have won!
Happily I accept and will nominate someone.
Accolades from fellow poets, to me, mean quite a lot.
N
urturing encouragement like that just can't be bought.
Kind Jingle's rally brings inspiration to the distraught.

Yippee!! -- is how I feel about this lovely reward.
Overjoyed my wacky rhymes will not be ignored.
U
ma's Poem Book is hereby nominated for an award.

  2. When I clicked on the "U" it took me to a dark, dark place and I will never be whole again. Darn Blogger splitting up the hyperlinks because the fonts are different sizes.

Anyway, public service announcement. Whatever you do, don't click on the "U". If you value your sanity, don't click on the "U".

  3. @ Jingle - so glad you liked my award acceptance post. Your poetry forum is the one I like the most.

@ Bryan - THANKS for the warning... I think I fixed it. Lord knows many clickers couldn't resist it. Sorry that darned U link tortured you so. There are still many blogger things I don't know.

  4. That'll work. Whew, thank goodness. It was like a portal to Hell had opened up and I staring into the abyss. I was teetering on the very edge of the internet, staring off into the empty white space where all is formless and void. I will have nightmares about that U for many long nights to come.

Am I blowing a relatively trivial coding error a little too out of proportion? Just say so, if I am.

  5. I trusted your word and did not click U... so all I can do is apologize for the void it took you to. It sounded terrible.

  7. Awesome acceptance post. I'm not sure whether to be pleased or frightened that I didn't get here in time to explore the dark, dark U.

  9. @ trollpants - Hehe. You are obviously more intrigued by the dark, dark U place than I was!

@ fiveloaf - thanks, though this is not the acrostic I posted at Uma's. I posted Thankfulicious (which I wrote at Thanksgiving) instead since it is more typical of my work.

Rhyming or not, I would like a lot to hear the thoughts my words brought...
