It is time once again for a Smiley Sociology Study...
perhaps a weather theme will interest you, blog buddy?
Have you written anything about the tornadoes?
Have you seen a rain storm drench a field of potatoes?
Is June your favorite weather month of the year?
Or is there a different season that you hold dear?
Have you dreamt of being a weather man for a living?
Or do you feel the forecasts are always misgiving?
Whatever it is you think or feel about the weather,
let's write some posts about it and link up here together.

Non rhyming directions for the poetry challenged:
(1) Create a new post about weather or link to one that was already on your blog. Please note: your post does not need to be poetic. All styles of blogs are welcome as long as their post is about weather.
(2) Please include a link back to the Smiley Sociology Study within your post to help spread the word about the link exchange. The more "data" / posts I have to peruse, the better pseudo sociological results I can produce!
(3) copy the link for that post and paste link into Mister Linky below.
Please link directly to the post you want to share, not to your home page.
I will delete your link from the study if I cannot find a weather themed post to link to directly.
(4) leave a comment here to let me know you've posted a link
(5) read links left by others and tell them (nicely) what you think
You dissapoint with no direction in rhyme
ReplyDeleteThat is such a crime....lol
So whether to play
Whether to stay
Whether to do a fun rhyme
Whether to have a fun time
Whether to create a read
Whether there is any need
Whether to put on a show
Whether to state what I know
Whether to go in the sleet and hail
Whether to pay your non rhyme instruction bail
Whether to come on out
Whether to sit and gloat
Whether to jump
Whether to get over this hump
Whether to use the link
Whether to have you hit the brink
Whether I should stop
Whether I should become a rhyme cop
Whether I will win
Whether I'll commit a sin
Whether that's something I'll admit
Whether it would give you a fit
Yay I am the winner I declare
Oh wait I did it wrong, no fair
I was supposed to talk about the weather you say
Whether I did that I still got a smile today
So whether the weather blows around a feather
Or whether your non rhyming directions screw me up
I still came to tip my cup..lol
I've written a lot of verse about weather. Here's one of my limericks.
ReplyDelete@Pat - Haha. That is basically an entry in my comments section. I'll take it! :)

Whew... it took me a while to come up with this one! I've been busy with other stuff lately and my thinker is worn out!

ReplyDeleteFor the summer season
Bugs and gnats and mosquitoes too
Shoo fly and scoot bee
before I get you
the sky has been punctured
ReplyDeletepouring its life blood on
our heads and in runnels
to cool the crust we walk
was 95 earlier, soon when
empty we will sweat in the
sauna of its remnants
@Debra & @Bryan Miller - What great contributions! If you do post them to your blogs, please come back and add your link to Mister Linky. :)
