Friday Photo Fun
is when I share a randomly captured moment,
or perhaps a photo
experiment with more purposeful intent,
then pair it with a
rhyming riddle to exercise your mind
and teach you more
weird facts to which you once were blind.

Interesting...hmmmm...what is it?

DeleteLego pieces of some sorts?

Oooh. Great guess, but no... thanks for playing! :)
DeleteLove the picture and am not caffeinated enough for the riddle LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I can respect that. I'm drinking my caffeine now. :)
DeleteRachel, I'm clueless again...you have to really put something that I can figure out LOL.

Awwww, Mary I'm trying. xoxo
DeleteRats! Beautiful colors, but no guess yet. You are an expert in stumping us. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww. It's tough for me to know which ones you will find hard. I thought this one was easier. :P
DeleteNot sure what it is but I love the the vibrant orange hue!
ReplyDeleteThanks! The orange made me want to snap this. :)
DeleteGuessing wildly here - hair bands?
ReplyDeleteExcellent guess! No... this item has both a practical use and a playful use. You are on to something with the hair though... :)
DeleteI love the artwork! Is it a scrunchie! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy guest post on digital publishing on The Monice Magazine: http://themonicemagazine.wordpress.com/write-on-wednesday/write-on-wednesday-my-date-with-digital-publishing/
Ooooh. Not a scrunchie but that is a great guess! It is not used for actual hair. :P
DeleteA slinky? One that is large or dinky?..haha
ReplyDeleteLOL. No, not a slinky, but there's a piece of metal ON it that's kind of dinky. :P
DeleteHello Rachel.
ReplyDeleteI've had coffee, tea & a few slices of freshly baked banana bread, but I still don't have a clue! Based on some of the answers, I'm going to take a wild guess & say hair beads.
No.... it actually has nothing to do with human hair, it's just hairy.
DeleteI wanted to say that it was one of those trolls...remember, the kind with the crazy hair? But considering the clues you've given, I'm sure that's not it.
ReplyDeleteHehe. Well, you are not the first to guess it. (One guess from a friend just on facebook.) No, not that kind of hair. Hmmmmm.... I'm trying to think of another clue...
DeleteInteresting but clueless...As always...XOXOXOXOXO

DeleteI haven't a clue but my sister makes felt from all kinds of hair and sells it to all kinds of hippie kids....other than that I don't even have a thought. You are excellent at this riddle thing. Always makes me smile to come here on Fridays.
ReplyDeletehttp://tumultuousjourney.wordpress.com/2012/03/10/friday-moment-15/
Hmmm, I did not know that felt was made of hair actually. :) Thanks for the lesson! LOL
DeleteIf you were imagining different colored pieces of felt stacked upon each other... well, there are three of the thing that is the answer stacked randomly... :)
Rachel I can never win this guessing game of yours. I am so useless in using my imagination. But whatever it is, the colors are beautiful and you have me stumped!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you all baring with me while I try to fine tune the difficulty. :)
DeleteI'm going to guess curlers, based on the visual and the hint you gave on Blogplicity -- haha! But, I don't know why hippies would like them...
ReplyDeleteDarn! I was really hoping you were going to get it! No, not curlers. This is something you (personally) use more often than many of us. It was not cleaned properly after it's last use, which made it look pretty, but has rendered it useless...
DeleteI'm totally stumped. Can't wait to see what it is that you associate with me 'personally' ... I was a bit concerned when I thought you thought of me as 'the curler lady' -- haha!
DeleteAndy David has figured it out! (He had a few extra clues on facebook...) The answer is a paint brush! There are three paint soaked paint brushes stacked on top of each other in this picture. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Lord! It's so obvious now! I guess I don't think of paintbrushes as having "hair", more like bristles. In fact, I was thinking of guess hair brush, but then you said something about it bot having anything to do with human hair. Oh, I would have been so close!
DeleteLOL...thanks for playing along, but it was the mention of Dangerous Linda that pushed me in the right direction! I had a lot of fun. Now I can't wait for the next one! ♥
DeleteGreat Andy I don't have to spend the rest of the week-end trying to figure it out...Paintbrushes, how great is that....?
