I didn't laugh too hard when I heard about Paula Deen,
making money on both ends, living the American dream!
A Limerick for Paula Deen
A gal with a very full plate
Knew she would have to endure hate
For making us fat
And then after that
Selling drugs that reverse our sad fate.

haha that's how they do it, make you fat then tell you to get skinny, then make you fat again, one big endless cycle.
ReplyDeleteWell... someone has to keep fueling the need for new products! :)
DeleteThanks for contributing yet another fun, news-related limerick to my Limerick-Offs!
ReplyDeleteYour limerick-offs are still my favorite prompt to write for. :)
DeleteAlways thought it was "Dean" spelled with an "A"
ReplyDeleteShe probably got diabetes from spelling it that way!!
LOL Bryan... I wrote the whole thing with Dean and posted it before I noticed it was spelled Deen. :P
DeleteOk that looks really gross LOLOL...As always...XOXOXOXO

Thanks for visiting, Bongo. You aren't going to rush out and cook your own brunch burger now? LOL xo
DeleteAmazing what people get away with :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we could find other examples. It's the American way! :)
DeleteI put on pounds just watching this! And, your limerick? Perfection!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I hope you laughed enough to burn them off! Thank you!!
DeleteHello Rachel.
ReplyDeleteHaha...all they need now is a slab of butter & they're good to go! Looks gross! I can't believe they both managed to take such huge bites too.
Fun-filled post Rachel.
Thanks for sharing.
YouTube Tuesday #6
They could just use drawn butter for dipping... :)
Deletewow ... in a ewwwwwwwww kind of way!
ReplyDeleteI know! As Andy said, I can't believe they both managed such huge bites!! :)
DeleteThat was a funny video and the limerick was quite creative!! As a native of Savannah I really can't bash her as she's a money machine for the city. It's impossible to drive pass her restaurant and not see hordrs of tourists lined up to spen their cash
ReplyDeleteYou know us Southern folk love lard ;)
David, I may poke fun at her but I agree with your logic whole heartedly! If people want to eat that... make it for them. I just hope they understand the "sometimes food" concept so they can avoid the consequences. :)
DeleteSometimes I just have no words but I'm still looking at the donut XD
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a Krispy Kreme in a really really long time. It did look good... until they put the hamburger on top of it! :P
