Something Plentiful
by Rachel Hoyt
Wild ones make one think of harm,
because sometimes they are short on charm,
though their transformational qualities are many.
For good or bad they grow aplenty.

Friday Photo Fun is when I share a randomly captured
moment,
or perhaps a
photo experiment with more purposeful intent,
then pair it with a rhyming riddle to exercise your mind
and teach you more weird facts to which you once were blind.
then pair it with a rhyming riddle to exercise your mind
and teach you more weird facts to which you once were blind.
After the
answer is guessed, I will post a second, non-abstract photo,
and just in
case you wanted to know,
the first is
not a photoshopped version of the second -
they're shot
using different techniques that to me beckon.
Absolutely no clue! Can't wait to find out what this one is. :)
ReplyDeleteI had to try to make it harder so Wanda wouldn't solve it so fast! :) Thanks for visiting. :)
DeleteCoffeeee, I need coffeeee.. I can't think, it makes my brain cell hurt cause I'm in the midst of coffee withdrawal!
ReplyDeleteWait, are they coffee beans?
Sorry, not coffee, but my pot just finished brewing if you want some. :) :)
ReplyDelete(Phew! I stumped Wanda... for now...)
Good one! I had no clue even with all the hints you gave to everyone, of course I am in a fog right now and will be for a few more days.
DeleteClovers?
ReplyDeleteNo, not clovers. This thing grows a little taller...
DeleteSigh, I can't even put up a wild guess ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, keep thinking wildly and perhaps an idea will sprout. :) thanks for visiting! :)
DeleteHello Rachel,
ReplyDeleteWoW! I can't believe Wanda hasn't guessed it yet (lol). I'm going with cactus (although I swear I saw a hand in there too!)
Ooh. Not cactus, but that is a great guess given the above clues.
DeleteThis item is even more common and is not green.
P.S. There is no hand in the photo, but it makes sense that it kinda looks like one after being abstractified. :)
DeleteHmmmmmm poison ivy?
ReplyDeleteNo, but we are getting closer. :) This thing is not green but it is sometimes poisonous. :)
Deletehmmmmm dandelions???????? wild guess LOL...As always....XOXOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteAn excellent wild guess, but that's not it. xoxo Thanks for playing! :)
DeleteHere's another hint for everyone...
ReplyDeleteWhen this item touches your tongue,
it may taste yummy, make you sick or make everything more fun. :)
mushrooms?
DeleteYes sir! There were two acceptable answers this week... fungi or mushrooms. Good job! It was that "makes everything more fun" clue that did it for you, wasn't it. :)
DeleteYou got me there ;)
DeleteHello again. Seems we're all stumped, so I've had my Assistant do a bit of digging for me...could it be Agave?
ReplyDeleteThank you for continuing the guessing, Andy! :)
DeleteNo, it is not agave. The item is NOT GREEN. In fact, it is not in the same "family" as agave although it could grow nearby...
mushrooms?
ReplyDeleteoh I guess it was already guessed. But I didn't see so I guessed right for once..haha
DeleteIt's still fun to be right... right? :)
DeleteI was going to say The bark of a tree but am wrong again! Mushroom hmmm
ReplyDeleteTree bark would be pretty cool looking too. :)
Deletehehe your first pic makes me think i ate some of the wrong kind...smiles...i like mushrooms sauteed though...
ReplyDeleteAww I made it here after the correct answer was given.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked pictures of mushrooms and little fairies etc. But I don't like them in real life, I don't know why they give me the ewwie jewies.
It's hard to know at first glance if they're nice mushrooms or mean ones. I can see why you prefer pictures to the real thing. :)
