I used to avoid drinking Guinness.
I felt that it pushed me towards sickness.
Then I learned the Bailey's trick.
Irish Car Bombs go down slick.
Now I just worry about being witless.

and too much cake can be a big mistake!
Happy St. Patricks Day Rachel! :)
@Trisha - Shots of whiskey it is! :)
ReplyDelete@AJ - LOL. This type of bomb doesn't explode, but is still quite dangerous!
@Wanda - Cute, cute, cute! Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too! :)
Oh gotta try this one. Guinness gets to me too ... Thanks for the good advice - very good advice indeed : )
ReplyDeleteI remember one night when I had to much too drink, my actions then nearly got thrown into the clink. I was granted bail as long as I went to see a shrink, a long red haired Irish number with a comfy sink (Wink, Wink)
ReplyDeleteAt some point I must have fallen, because my head was lumpy and my jaw was swollen. She waived the bill and sent me home, and when my wife asked me questions I told her I had tripped over some pub's faulty Blarney Stone.
Thank you Detroit! Goodnight!
Still in good form I see, Rachel :)
ReplyDelete@Kriti - Be careful!!! The Irish Car Bombs are yummy, but I wasn't kidding about the witless thing... :)
ReplyDelete@Atypical Scott - Hehehehehehee. LOVED your rhyme. Did your wife really believe that faulty Blarney Stone stuff? Gee she's gullible. :)
@Simon - Long time no see! Thanks for stopping by...
I wanna be witless for a while - please please

ReplyDeleteGuinness is my favourite beer.
ReplyDeleteI have grown to like dark beers but still am not a fan of Guinness unless it is in 'car bomb' form. Sorry.
