OMG - WTH?! IMHO...




I apologize for over using OMG and LOL.
They added them to OED.  What the hell?!
I should call my BFF to see what she thinks.
I feel expanding use of initialisms totally stinks.
I remember scoffing at the first uses of  "PC".
I guess that's the "I don't like changes" in me.
There are a few initialisms I use just for fun,
but I fear the formation of a new language has begun.
But really, what's a modern gal supposed to do?
I, personally, cave in eventually. i.e. using TTYL2.

    oh Rachel, that was just too cute! And I can relate 100%! It's pretty embarrassing to have to ask your teenage child what a text means :)

    @Mary - Thanks! It's embarrasing for me that my dad knows and has made up more of these initialisms than I have. (He texts with my cousins. Hehe.)

    @Alejandro - I like the word too! I thank whoever wrote the article I linked to for teaching it to me. :)
