ah! I do take the pills lol. I hope they do work indeed, a funny bit, I like. Enjoy the rally! http://lynnaima.wordpress.com/2011/04/03/ravishing-beauty/
@Doug - they really are giving regular updates here in CA to let us know if we need to be worried about the radiation from Japan. I drink wine to counteract their preemptive worry mostly. I hope I have some left when/if the radiation actually gets here. :)
@lynniama - You take the pills? Are you near the radiation? :(
@jessica - I definitely think at some point I'd have to just stop worrying and drink wine! :)
@chim - Thank you! I definitely try to hint at additional (serious) meaning in every silly thing I write. :)
I'm not sure I would be living in CA right now. That kind of stuff is really scary to me. Your meaning behind your poem is actually quite powerful to me.
@Mary - It probably helps that I'm not watching the news TOO much because I'm certain they are discussing radiation all the time. I hate that they make it sound so scary currently. Sure, it might reach us here and we may need to take precautions, but there is very little practical, non-panic-inducing advice being given. Good thing I found this news story on red wine protecting from radiation though. I'm all stocked up! :)
@Jingle - Thanks for the sweet rhyming comment! Always a pleasure to have you stop by. :)

Thanks, but I've already been injected. If not, your offer wouldn't be rejected. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess if radiation is headed your way then drinking red wine is a good way to spend the day.
