This 6WS #poetweet was inspired by Shel Silverstein's billy sook, Runny Babbit.  If you know the book (or are just really smart) then you will know what my poem says.  Hehehe.

My NaPoWriMo poem #3

  2. Glad you like it Torkona! You should definitely use #poetweet (just one t)... a big newspaper tracks those and publishes the best. :)

  3. It just keeps getting better and better with each visit Rachel! Of course, as simple as I am, I had to read that one a couple of times:)

  4. Mary, I have to think REALLY hard to write Runny Babbit speak... and can't really read it aloud. Shel's book is AWESOME though. I just (finally) bought it this week. :) P.S. Even though you had to read it multiple times to figure it out, you can still call yourself REALLY SMART now!

  9. @Wanda - this Runny Babbit speak is tough stuff indeed! :)

@Call Me Cate - I've still only read half of my copy... I made myself put it down to save some fun for later. It was gleefully overwhelming! :)

  12. Oh, I love Shel Silverstein! "Where the sidewalk ends" and "A Light in the Attic" were some of my favorites! :) I don't do twitter, but you're very clever to have done the 6 word post and reference Shel at the same time!

  13. @lynnaima - So glad you enjoyed it! :)

@Dragon Katet - Shel was an awesome writer. Imitating him was totally worthy of my first ever six word sunday contribution. :)
